The high-precision micro cycloidal gearbox is a new micro precision cycloidal and spur gear reducer developed and manufactured by Dongguan Weitengstan in collaboration with technicians from Germany and Taiwan after years of research and development.
Similar to the RV gearbox used in robots, this gearbox also adopts a cycloidal structure. However, the high-precision micro cycloidal gearbox only uses a single-stage reduction structure, eliminating the need for a secondary planetary reduction. This design allows for a smaller, ultra-thin, lightweight gearbox with high rigidity, overload resistance, and high torque. It has excellent reduction performance, enabling smooth operation and precise positioning.
The integrated design allows for direct connection with the motor, achieving high precision, high rigidity, and durability in electromechanical integration. The design of the high-precision micro cycloidal gearbox is based on a new reduction principle and a newly developed radial-axial output bearing, representing a new generation of power transmission systems. The newly developed transmission technology, combined with revolutionary innovations in structure, not only reduces the difficulty of manufacturing and assembly but also enables the design of ultra-high speed ratio transmission. Therefore, it can replace RV gearboxes and harmonic gearboxes directly in applications such as robot joints, rotating worktables, and various transportation systems.
1) The basic components and characteristics of the high-precision micro cycloidal gearbox are as follows:
1. Housing: It combines high-performance and precision radial-axial output bearings built into the gearbox.
2. Flange: The input and output flanges are fixed together by a pin shaft, rotating at the reduced speed.
3. Input shaft: The high-speed component of the reduction mechanism is a flange bearing, and the eccentric rotation of the shaft is supported by the bearing to drive the cycloidal gear.
